MEMS have had an increased presence in the consumer market, with a significant number of commercialized devices such as motion controlled handhelds, airbags deployment systems, environmental sensors and microphones.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Nabki is currently seeking motivated graduate students (Master\u2019s or Ph.D.) that have experience in MEMS design and fabrication to implement novel integrated MEMS sensors and actuators for applications touching RF electronics, environmental sensing, inertial sensing, non-destructive testing, photonics and energy harvesting. Knowledge of MEMS modeling using FEM design tools such as ANSY, Comsol or Coventorware and clean room experience are assets.<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates can send their CV to Prof. Nabki (nabki.frederic@uqam.ca).[:fr]Comme les lasers et les circuits int\u00e9gr\u00e9s, les microsyst\u00e8mes \u00e9lectrom\u00e9caniques (MEMS) sont une technologie de rupture, rendant possibles de nouvelles applications et pouvant am\u00e9liorer les syst\u00e8mes existants. Les MEMS ont maintenant une pr\u00e9sence accrue dans nos vies et plusieurs dispositifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 commercialis\u00e9s comme les microphones, les micro-miroirs ou les capteurs de mouvements.<\/p>\n<p>Le Professeur Nabki est pr\u00e9sentement \u00e0 la recherche des \u00e9tudiants gradu\u00e9s motiv\u00e9s (ma\u00eetrise ou doctorat) qui ont une exp\u00e9rience dans la conception et la fabrication de MEMS pour mettre en \u0153uvre des capteurs et actionneurs MEMS novateurs pour les applications touchant l\u2019\u00e9lectronique RF, les capteurs environnementaux, les capteurs de mouvement, le test non destructif, la photonique et de la r\u00e9colte d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.
